The Boxer Rebellion

I love it when a new band shows up on my internet radio galavanting and I find myself loving every song I hear. For me, on this day, that band is The Boxer Rebellion. They hail from Londontown and I can't wait until they cross the pond to play my town.

The title "afternoons and coffee spoons" comes from a song by The Crash Test Dummies with lyrics that read:

Someday I'll wear pajamas in the daytime
(and) afternoons will be measured out
Measured out, measured with
Coffee spoons and T.S. Eliot

(which in my books sounds just lovely)

I developed this space to curate the things that catch my attention on any given day. Pretty things, smart things, curious things. I like 'em all. When I don't want to over-think, over-write or over-analyze, I come to this space for awhile - in my pajamas, sipping a cup of coffee and maybe reading a bit of Eliot.
